The world's first wormwood vodka Babicka and Karlsson's Gold Potato Vodka at www.drinkon.com

We have 2 interesting new vodkas to introduce this week. The first is Babicka, hailing from the Czech Republic, which is a wormwood vodka infused, obviously with wormwood and herbs. Wormwood (Artemisia Absinthium) has long been said to have medicinal properties, and this vodka is creamy, smooth and luxurious with notes of vanilla, caramel and aniseed. Recommended as an aperitif for its digestive qualities, it's also great on the rocks or in cocktails. View Babicka Wormwood Vodka
The second is Karlssons Gold, a luxury potato vodka from Sweden. The brainchild of the father of Absolut, Borje Karlsson, Karlssons is made from the very finest virgin new potatoes and is distilled only once, preserving the rich character of it's origin and giving it a natural, balanced flavour. Aside from the smoothness of potato vodkas, they are also suitable for Coeliacs and those intolerant to gluten. View Karlssons Gold Potato Vodka

Although usually served as a digestif, Fernet Branca can be served on the rocks, with a splash of mineral water or in cocktails such as the Dr Zeus or the Hanky Panky Martini, shown below.
